Documentary style video content is one of the best ways that Brands can connect with their customers on a much more meaningful level. Unlike conventional advertising where you’re having to spend a lot of money to ram your message down your customers throats, with documentary-style content your message is far more likely to be shared organically by your customers. With documentary-style content you don’t have to spend loads of money to get it in front of people, because if the quality is good enough, people will share it organically. So it will gather its own momentum and end up getting loads and loads of views. But it’s not just about views. By creating really high quality content that people can enjoy, you’re positioning your brand in a completely different light. You’re adding lots and lots of value to your customers. And if you do that, they’re far more likely to engage with your products and to give you loyalty. Just remember the reason I use “documentary-style content”, is because we’re not talking about one hour documentaries here. Documentary style video content could be one or two minutes or it could be five, fifteen, whatever length you really want.
