7 Steps to Creating a Successful Content Marketing Strategy

– Hi. I’m from ahmadelhawli.com. Seven successful steps
to create a successful content marketing strategy. Number one, define your goal. Who are you talking to? What is the strategy
behind the content that you are promoting and pushing
through your channels? Number two, conduct a persona research. Find out who your persona is. Find out where they are living, which platforms they are on. Number three, run a content audit. See what sort of content
your persona engages with. Try different forms of content. Whatever content you’ve tried in the past go back and see what has
worked and what hasn’t worked. Number four, determine a
content management system. Have a system in place where you can manage all your content. Know when you’re gonna publish; how you’re gonna publish; who’s publishing what; so on, so on. And then, also, have some
analytics based on your content. How many people are viewing your content; how many people are engaging; how many times your ebook will open; so on, so on. Number five, brainstorm
different content ideas. Use apps like buzzsumo and find.ly to see what content is trending, which content people are
mostly engaging with. Number six, determine
which types of content you want to create. This once again goes
back to your audience. Do they like ebooks? Do they like videos? Do they like listening to audio, podcasts? It all depends on what your
audience likes to listen to; likes to see; likes to read. Whatever they are happy to engage with, that’s what sort of content
you should be creating. Number seven, publish all
your content and manage it. Publish your content on the right channels where your audience lives. And then manage that content. Make sure that that is working. Keep going over and over; checking it; what’s working; what’s not working. Make changes, adjust. Move with times. That’s the only way to move forward and actually produce a
successful content strategy. Thank you very much for joining me on The Business Wilderness. (synthesiser music)
